The Imperial
The home of the original Priscilla show has undergone a massive nip ‘n' tuck and emerged as the inner west's biggest dance club-cum-bar-cum-cabaret venue. 35 Erskineville Rd, Erskineville 2043. (02 9519  9899).

The Red Rattler
It's old school, left of centre and stages some quirky performances. Check out the vintage bar. 6 Faversham St, Marrickville 2204. (02 9565 1044).

Phoenix Rising
This Saturday morning day club beckons party peeps that won't stop ‘till they get enough. 34 Oxford St, Darlinghurst 2010. (02 9360 1375).

Stonewall
Named after the famous gay-lib riots of 1969, it boasts three levels of drag, clubbing beats and a fresh young crowd. 175 Oxford St, Darlinghurst 2010. (02 9360 1963).

The Colombian
Drink with the passing queer crowd downstairs, or venture upstairs to catch some awesome tracks spun inside a chic bar. 17 Oxford St, Darlinghurst 2010. (02 9360 21510).

Palms
If daggy is the new black, then Palms is totally hue-less. It's like the bar from Cheers but with disco tracks and zero attitude. 124 Oxford St, Darlinghurst 2010. (02 9357 4166).
