Petty Cash

Marrickville

There is more to Marrickville than warehouses, and this little park-side cafe is the perfect antidote to the industrial chic of the Inner West. Set right on Enmore Park, Petty Cash is a leafy spot for a cafe brekky and if you have little ones on hand, they can gambol on the grass while you enjoy a coffee on one of the cafe's picnic rugs.

The Grounds of Alexandria

Alexandria

On a couple of weekend occasions we've seen farm animals and a jumping castle pop up at this new Alexandria cafe. A warning, though: the weekend queues are pretty epic.

Adriano Zumbo Lab

Rozelle

Zumbo's Rozelle joint is bigger than the Balmain option, and kids will love the wall murals and sweet treats in all manner of colours and shapes!

Revolver

Annandale

This place packs out with yummy mummies with ergonomic strollers and eco-friendly toys in tow. And with the its large outdoor area and friendly service, we can understand why.

Bourke Street Bakery - Marrickville

Marrickville

Kids will love watching the bakers in action, and this shop is a lot less crowded than the Surry Hills version, so you can get your hands on the famous pork and fennel sausage rolls and crusty sourdough loaves without having to brave the hungry crowds.
