Get face-to-snout with endangered species, exotic plants and rugged landscapes without compromising your health or comfort at the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2008 show. Fresh from the Museum of Natural History in London, the exhibition comes to the Australian Museum with over 80 winners and highly commended entries from all over the world in categories including animal portraits, the underwater world and wild places.

The overall winner of Wildlife Photographer of the Year, American Steve Winter, has seen it all, from erupting volcanoes to worms erupting from his own skin. His award-winning shot 'Snowstorm Leopard' captures an elusive snow leopard dashing through darkness in the Indian Himalayas. As Winter says: "This was a real collaboration between the snow leopard and myself. The show of all the winners is truly an amazing window on the talent of all the winning photographers and our natural world." Don't miss out on this incredible display.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibits is at the Australian Museum From 13 Dec.
