The Time Out Sydney Comedy Award winners have released their first DVD. Jordan Raskopolous prepares for his close up.

Has the winning of a Time Out Sydney Comedy Award transformed your life beyond your wildest dreams?

Life is amazing. Our cups runneth over with Champagne, honey and milk. Citizens shout our praises wherever we go. To be perfectly honest, though, we're not really fond of Champagne, especially when mixed with milk and honey, and the shouting is getting a little annoying.

Was it difficult deciding to cast yourselves in the key roles of the Axis of Awesome for this DVD?
The role of Lee was hard to cast. We'd considered casting Lindsay Lohan in the role. I'm glad we didn't make that mistake. Interestingly, many of the wide shots of Benny on the DVD were performed by a chicken.

Now that you've put three shows worth of songs on the DVD, does this pretty much mean you have to write an entire new set now?
We've already written a new show since filming the DVD. It's called Songs in the Key of Awesome. We premiered it at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and plan on touring it in Australia in 2011.

When is your slinky soul number ‘Sexual Harrassment' getting a single release?
Probably the next time I bend over near the photocopier. Ellison Ward
