A German/Australian/Finnish Nazi space saga
Hop into the Popcorn Taxi for to catch a preview screening of the schlocktastic new sci-fi Iron Sky, followed by question and answer time with the director, producer, writer and editor. The Finnish/German/Australian film follows a group of Nazi's that escaped to the moon - it is now 2018 and they are returning back to earth. The films grand plot is only matched by it's epic production - with a budget of $10 million, and a globe-spanning production that endured floods, multiple languages and a unique crowd-funding model that makes Iron Sky a test case for budding film producers the world over. That said, director Timo Vuorensola and Australian producer Cathy Overett will surely have some interesting stories to tell during the question and answer time.
