The American Idol's first ever international tour comes to Sydney
The 2005 winner of American Idol has had a career most reality competition alums can only dream about – a cool five Grammys, 14 million albums sold, a membership to the Grand Ole Opry and now, an international tour that takes her from London's Royal Albert Hall to the Sydney Opera House. She was a farm girl before Simon Cowell spotted a woman who could take over the country world, and be as cynical as you want about the machine that found her, but she's produced some true country gems on her "journey" (that's what they call this in reality TV land) – 'Before He Cheats' being the best among them. Show will focus on her latest album, Blown Away. Tickets on sale Mon May 14 at 9am.
