The Canadian one-woman orchestra brings her cello and pedals to Notes
Zoë Keating might be one of the most exciting names in classical music. With a single cello, a MacBook, a series of pedals and some of her own codes – Keating is a former information architect – Keating creates mesmerising, looped waves of sound that have secured fans like Imogen Heap and Amanda Palmer, not to mention more than a million Twitter followers. The "avant garde cellist" tours on the back of most recent album, Into the Trees, but fans can expect a disc of new material before the year ends.
