Harvest Festival is back with an eclectic line up sure to please even the most discerning of music fans. The absolutely huge line-up includes: Grizzly Bear, Beck, Sigur Ros, Beirut, Santigold, Cake, Dandy Warhols, Ben Folds Five, Mike Patton's Mondo Cane, The Black Angels, Fuck Buttons, Ozomatli, The War On Drugs, Chromatics, Liars, Dark Horses and more.
Plus, for those who like a bit more of a rave, there is the Garden Stage where Sydney's best underground DJs will be spinning mad tunes (we assume). Founders of Health Club, Mikie & Tyson, are reuniting and DJs Robbie Buck and Jack Shit are performing Bob and Jackie's Earthly Delights (think Mariachi, ska, gospel and all that good stuff). Mad Racket is also coming to the Park and Goodgod resident Joey the Saint. Oh and everyone's favourite, Smokey LaBeef.
As always, Harvest is bringing in a huge art component with 400 artists working on 80 acts and installations. Visitors will want to check out Le Boudoir in Harvest's 'Bootleg Alley' for circus-cabaret mashups like Vaudevillage's take on Frankenstein and Londoners Bourgeois and Maurice making their Australian debut (with a cabaret-catwalk "freakshow" of course). Juke Baritone and the Swamp Dogs will round out the night in Le Boudoir in Sydney.
Plus, in an area called 'The Secret Garden' there will be comedy, theatre, spoken word and Erotic Fan Fiction (yes!).
