Honouring the life and work of the great writer
Novelist and actor, Simon Callow, is coming to the Opera House to combine three of his passions; theatre, writing and Charles Dickens. Simon Callow’s latest biography, Charles Dickens and the Great Theatre of the World, discusses the importance of theatre to the life and work of the great novelist and playwright. Now he will be presenting his knowledge and intricate understanding of Dickens' work and life on stage when he performs a reading from the biography, followed by an 'in conversation’ talk about his colourful life and love of the theatre.
