Musica Viva and The Standard bring together two of Australia’s hottest young ensembles performing their favourite works by new and well-loved composers for a night of outstanding chamber music.
Come and enjoy this country’s best young musicians as they perform in one of Sydney’s coolest art spaces. The night features Engima Quartet & Streeton Trio plus guest DJ Dave Fernandes and visual artist Kate Scardifield.
The Enigma Quartet have appeared several times on Australian Idol, the Today Show and Sunrise. Some of the artists the quartet and members have recorded for and performed alongside include The Cat Empire, Angus & Julia Stone, Katie Noonan, Kanye West, Ronan Keating, Florence and the Machine. The Streeton Trio is the only Australian ensemble ever to be selected for the prestigious European Chamber Music Academy, where it has been ensemble in residence in Berlin since 2010. Make sure you don't miss this special night!
Tickets are $20 if you pre-purchase them or $25 at the door. Check out their facebook page for all the info. If you pre-purchase four tickets you'll get one free but to take advantage of this special offer call Musica Viva on 1800 688 482. Be quick as this offer ends at 3pm on Friday August 10.
