Time Out Sydney

Finally! The poster boy for Aussie neo-soul plays a special one-off gig to share some new music

Two-time ARIA winner Merriweather, the Australian singer who became the face of the neo-soul movement here at home and earned an international profile with his appearance on the Mark Ronson song 'Stop Me', will be playing an intimate one-off gig in Sydney at the Oxford Art Factory alongside a five-piece band. This will be the very first opportunity for local fans to hear some of the new material he's drummed up for his upcoming second album, which has been roughly five years in the making. Get in quick – the OAF is a small joint, Merriweather has a big following, and this show is almost certain to sell out.
