1. At the age of 14, Pink was already creating her own songs and performing them every Friday at Club Fever in Philadelphia.

2. Before becoming a solo artist, she was a singer for a rap group called Schools of Thoughts, a rock band called Middleground, and two R&B groups called Basic Instinct and Choice.

3. Pink has sung back up for artists including Diana Ross, 98 Degrees, Kenny Lattimore, and Tevin Campbell.

4. Her first crush was actor and martial artist Bruce Lee.

5. Pink is a high profile campaigner of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). She sent a letter to Prince William bashing him for supporting fox hunting and another letter to Queen Elizabeth II for allowing real fur in the bearskins of the Foot Guards and the Honourable Artillery Company.

6. She sought help from former 4 Non Blondes vocalist turned top-flight song doctor Linda Perry for her second album Missundaztood.

7. Pink donated $250,000 to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal to help the victims from the Victorian bushfires.

8. She is a vegan.

9. She broke a rib diving in the Mediterranean Sea.

10. She claims that her name came from the 1992 movie Reservoir Dogs because her friends believed the character Mr Pink (Steve Buscemi's character) bore some resemblance to her. Luckily, she was wrong.
