An Est chef makes a meat pie? That's cause for celebration

What happens when Est head chef Alex Woolley endeavours to create the perfect pie and sausage roll? Bert's Pies, Merivale's new venture into the meat-and-pastry word. To celebrate they are hosting a week long pie festival from Monday August 5 until Sunday August 11 at their venues. One thousand Bert's Pies will be given away to customers at Lorraine's Patisserie (100 free pies every day from noon between Monday August 5 and Friday August 9), Establishment (250 free pies from noon on Wednesday August 7) and Hotel CBD (250 free pies from Tuesday August 6). Guests can also order a Bert's Pie and receive a free James Squire One Fifty Lashes Pale Ale.
