Let me tell you why the rest of the world loves food trucks: whether you're in Portland, New York, Paris or Bangkok, you love food trucks because they are a reliable, fast, humble, hassle-free meal, around the clock, that you know where to find no matter what state you're in, and you will find yourself enjoying their guilty pleasures with every walk of life. Even if they're on wheels, like the much loved Roach Coaches of California, they come back to the same place and you don't have to get fancy and complicated to find them. And you're going to shell out 5 bucks, tops. If you're spending any more, you might as well be somewhere that you can sit down with heating/cooling. And you certainly shouldn't have to be spending more, out in the cold, in a crowd of app geek yuppies. There is nothing attractive about that.
