Back in our March issue, Time Out went hard on the
food trucks, then the whole movement seemed to stop in its tracks. But the tyres have been pumped up again, and a few of the trucks are getting some traction. So where are they now and who’s doing what?
Al Carbon
Al Carbon have recently taken to the streets, after been operating out of their Canterbury Warehouse and pop-up venue La Lupita for the past few months.

Eat Art Truck
Stuart McGill has been seen quite a bit around town since launching his truck, though it’s just been announced he’ll be setting up bricks in Bondi at the Beach Road Hotel with his American-Japanese restaurant, Truck Stop.

Cantina Mobil
The team behind the Tex-Mex truck still roam the streets but now have a stationary cantina on Crown Street as well.

On the road, serving organic pizza and brownies.

Bite Size Delights
The pastizzi van is still a ways off launching. No set date yet, folks.
@bitesizedelight
Tsuru
These guys will be serving skewers in steamed buns on the road in just two weeks.
@tsurufoodtruck
Taco truck
No sign as yet of Rafael Rashid’s Sydney taco truck.
Burger Theory
Sadly, the delicious burgers are no longer to be truck-side in Sydney. You’ll have to schlep to Adelaide for a taste.

Let’s do Yum Cha
The mobile yum cha truck's not on the road. Fingers crossed it'll be soon.

Veggie Patch
The sustainable vegetarian food truck will be chugging along Sydney streets as early as next week.

Ah... The city of Sydney and its genius food plans. First it was the flopped lane ways and now the food trucks. When will they learn that cool can't be planned or bought?
