What The richest, creamiest, lushest ice cream to have graced Sydney freezers in recent times. With flavours like burnt fig, caramel and honeycomb or quince and bitter almond, they're as grown up as ice cream gets and good enough to serve as dessert or eat in front of the telly straight out of the tub. In fact if the mood took you, you could eat it in the tub.

Where Maloney's Grocer; 214 Coogee Bay Road, Coogee 2034. (02 9664 5655)

How Maggie suggests letting it stand for around ten minutes so it gets really soft but it's also just as good rock hard. Don't worry about serving it with anything, it's a complete dessert within itself. $7.50 a tub.
