RESTAURANTS

1. Manly Pavilion, West Esplanande(pictured above)
Newly opened in the old bather’s pavilion, this modern Italian menu is the bomb for those making the Manly Ferry trip a true gourmet day out. Highlights include buffalo mozzarella grilled on lemon leaf, tangles of cuttlefish and fennel and sweet pork ragu with pappardelle… or let them jostle for pole position on your palate via the five-course menu ($88). 2. Hugos Manly, East Esplanade
Handily located bang on the ferry wharf, Hugos Manly is the perfect first (or last) stop on any Manly adventure. Pizzas come fast, well-priced and delicious and cocktails are lively, punchy and fun.
