Kurt Cobain sang of the virtues of Penny Royal tea but it's the coffee here that's nirvana. It trickles from a vintage La Marzocco espresso engine that stands sentry over a long narrow space and draws hordes of bean-fiend locals and Lycra-clad cyclists to a cute cafe in a lane behind Mosman Council Chambers. Try their sourdough, ricotta, mushroom and pesto sandwich too.
