What? With the opening of the third of Justin North's Bécasse-branded eateries on the one
street, Time Out has started referring
to Clarence Street as 'rue de North'. Although the menu changes often, it's always super-Frenchy, so expect the likes of frisée aux lardons, duck confit baguettes, croques monsieur and madame, brioche and preserves, charcuterie and fromage
plates, parfait de foie and excellent coffee care of the good folks at Single Origin.
Why? There are very few French-style cafés in Sydney. Le Grande
Café is one of the few that's good for a quick lunch. They also
do takeaway.
How much? Around $15pp.
