The lovely, wondrous whiffs of fresh-baked bread greet you at the door and, on entry, give way to musty gusts of lovely earthy coffee. The vibe is French all the way (café owner Dominique hails from
Mauritius) with checked cloth under the bread baskets and a menu to match. It’s a hole-inthe- wall but the half-dozen
tables for two are always full of folks munching fruit loaf, puffed croissants and beautifully filled baguettes collected from the best bakeries in Sydney.
