There’s no food, no tea, no hot chocolate and no skim milk. This cutting-edge cafe is coffee all the way – they roast on demand, hold free cupping sessions and specialise in single estate beans. The alchemists behind this shop-front espresso operation are Coffee Alchemy, helmed by roaster Hazel de los Reyes, the 2007 Aussie Cupping Champ, a girl on a mission to make Aasca Demitasse, Kenyan Gethumbwini and Yirgacheffe part of Sydney’s coffee vocab via a La Marzocco Linea dripping with some of the most gorgeous espresso shots in Sydney.
