Small but perfectly formed, this café is tucked away on the steeply-sloping Dudley Street but works all angles to advantage courtesy of a robustly French menu filled with luscious croissants and fresh baguettes plus a house specialty nutella crepe with so much va-va-voom it’s near criminal. Although the café is so far open for dinner on Friday nights only, Petit’s owner Rafael has plans for extended hours in summer. For now, cheeky cheese fondues, cured meat platters and strong coffee will have to suffice.
