Best for Traditional pizza, the way it’s supposed to be. The only pizzeria given the seal of approval from the Verace Pizza Napoletana – the governing Italian body that makes sure pizzaioli (pizza makers) are doing the right thing by their clientele.
What to order The Pizza Bianchi (pizza sans tomato) topped with gossamer-thin slices of potato, little shreds of rosemary and crusts of sea salt.
Atmosphere Loud! Loud! Loud! It’s also plenty of fun, very friendly and great for kids.
Extras They’ve got plenty of Italian beers on offer as well as
a modest selection of Italian wine and if you can’t be bothered dining in, they do take away.
Get a table Turn up early or be prepared to queue. On the upside, they’re a two-step from The Gaslight, The Bentley Bar and The Judgie.
