Best for Watch from the door as pizzas are made in the traditional Neapolitan style and put straight into the huge wood-fired oven.

What to order Go for a pizza bianchi (no tomato sauce) like the Pizza Salmone – smoked salmon, asparagus, cherry tomato and goat’s cheese.

Atmosphere All minimal toppings and chic style. Lively, low-lit and authentic, but not cheap.

Extras The titular birra is a pale ale made by Hopping Mad brewery in Orange, but the superb wine by the glass is a better bet.

Get a table No bookings but they own Mille Vini just up the road, a great place to wait. Put your name down and they’ll call you.

Licensed, around $40pp incl wine.
