Forget everything you thought you knew about sandwiches and head to Big Bite, where two Greek sisters are making sandwiches as big as your head. The lines are out the door every day from noon onwards so you can either get there early, do the queuing thang or get there later on and risk a smaller selection of fillings. Our fave is the roast vegetable (pumpkin, potato, eggplant, carrot, tomato and mayo) sambo on brown that's so large even Pavarotti would have had a hard time finishing it. Wash it down with a fizzy ginger.

Big bite is awesome. The sandwiches are large enough to potentially feed two people. The fillings are to die for, and their selection of cakes/muffins are orgasmic. The shop is very popular, and it's actually a requirement that you reach their doors before midday, or you'll join the end of a very large queue. Every weekday, they have a different weekly special, Thursday - lamb, Friday - Burrito Beef, every day special lemon pepper chicken are fantastic, and the billboard listed chilli chicken are personal favorites.
