Now that Pho Pasteur down near central has gone down hill this is the next best bet. They serve basil with their beef noodle soup (instead of the ubiquitous mint) and their broth is beefier than most in the city. There's no lemon soda and it's very basic but it does the business for a quick mid-week lunch
