A super cute one-stop vintage fashion shop
In Surry Hills, an ex-resident of share house-cum-culture club, Hibernian House, has opened a one-stop vintage clothing shop, Dear Pluto. The warehouse space keeps regular store hours each weekend, and the owner Emma Daniels (pictured) also hosts regular Sunday Garden Flea Markets.
On Monday nights you can catch classic film screenings in exchange for a gold coin donation (BYO booze and pillows) and Dear Pluto has even given the speed-dating format a hipster overhaul.

I got so excited upon hearing about this place. As a lover of vintage clothing and original ideas I was confident this place was going to be my cup of tea...and... it didn't disappoint. Their range of lovely vintage things was great, the space was amazing and made you want to linger longer however, the ladies behind the counter left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. No hello when entering, no acknowledgment, too busy nattering about how tough it is to be a hipster gal and find a hipster guy in surry hills! I went with 3 friends, 3 of the 4 of us attempted to purchase. A friend wanted to purchase a dress for $50 only to be told its cash only. Trying to make conversation, she complimented them on their stock and asked 'where do you find all these amazing clothes', to which the sour faced girl replied 'people' Well Dear Pluto - you can have your lovely vintage things in your cute space, I'm heading back to the Salvo's stores.
