Time Out Sydney

So you wanna be a champion? Here are Sydney's best MMA gyms

Sinosic Perosh Martial Arts Academy
Instructors Elvis Sinosic and Anthony Perosh, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belts and current UFC competitors.
Classes A big range of classes ranging from MMA and BJJ to yoga, running mainly from the late. afternoon into the evening. Possibly the best BJJ gym in Sydney. Even though Elvis and Anthony are bad mofos, their gym has a great atmosphere and seeing all the little kids wrestling on the floor is super cute.
Cost Around $100 per month and up.

Bulldog Mixed Martial Arts
Instructors Founder Tim Fisher along with serious pros and guest seminars from big names.
Classes Beginners and technique classes in Muay Thai Kick Boxing and BJJ run Monday to Thursday nights. Kids and female-only kick boxing classes are also available. The gym is huge and the MMA and nightly fighters sessions are dead serious. Training camps in Thailand are also offered. A lot of big men with flat faces walking around.

Lange's Mixed Martial Arts
Instructors Australian MMA pioneer Anthony Lange, a team of current and former pros.
Classes Sydney's first BJJ/MMA school is still one of its best. There are MMA skills and striking classes on weeknights, along with Thai boxing and separated kids and teens classes. A friendly vibe but enough depth to know that you're not wasting your time. Other branches in Warriewood and North Manly.

Powercore MMA Gym
