Wondering where you can shriek for gold in enthusiastic company? We've got some suggestions
Since the commute to London is pretty brutal, you’re probably going to need to watch all the action unfold from here in the Harbour City. And sure, you could watch it all by yourself on the tele or on your laptop, but where’s the fun in that? Sport should be a communal, celebratory experience – and fortunately there are plenty of places where you can get your Olympics fix with other similarly-enthusiastic Sydneysiders.

Watch all the action at Customs House in front of the big screen
Customs House is the official big-screen party location for the Olympics, taking the live feed from Channel Nine as well as hosting games and events so you can feel the participatory rush of competition for yourself – just like you're a real Olympic hero!
Pubs screening the Olympics
Of course, sport is also enjoyed with a drink in one's hand – and many of Sydney's pubs are offering special Olympics menus, extended opening hours and other international-sporting-related goodness. Some of our favourites are below, but if we've missed any awesome ones please let us know in the comments and we shall update forthwith!
