Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre
If there’s an indoor pool on the planet with a better pedigree than the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre, we’re yet to hear about it. Designed by Harry Seidler and named for Milperra’s five-time Olympic gold medal winner, this $40 million recreational facility offers more than mere swimming. There’s personal training, a deluxe gymnasium and all manner of facilities.

Centre of the action in 2000, the centre has seen 52 world records set here. Kids will love climbing and sliding on the inflatable dragon.
