The wettest and wildest park on the Gold Coast opens up shop in Sydney... weeeeeeee!

You'll find more than 40 slides and attractions, among them the world's first combination of a four-loop and eight-lane racer, at Wet 'n' Wild's Sydney park. At the very heart of the park will be what they're claiming to be the biggest and best wave pool – in the world!
What are we most excited about? It's gotta be the 360Rush, a mammoth set of duelling slides that each loop a full 360 degrees – climb with a mate six storeys to the top, then race each other down. You'll hit speeds of up to 60km/h. Which in water-slide-speed terms, is pretty darn fast.
We're also keen to try out the Surf Deck, Australia's only 'latitube' (according to Wet 'n' Wild) which generates waves to surf from between four feet to ten. You have to pay extra for a ride, and there is limited capacity, but it's an easy way to learn to hang ten.
And in super-exciting news, the park will open until 11pm for much of the summer. During the night hours, the park features a light show that was designed by Bruce Ramus, who has worked on the Super Bowl half-time show.
