Director David Farr (who brought STC audiences Metamorphosis in 2009) works with London-based company Filter and Radiohead’s live performance designer Andi Watson to create an dazzling, witty and moving theatrical experience, Water. With interlinked stories of brothers meeting for the fist time, a civil servant attempting to push through a legally binding agreement on carbon emissions at a G8 summit and a man attempting to dive the deepest freshwater cave in the world, the production uses visual and sonic storytelling techniques to create a show of cinematic scale.
Previews from 12 September 2012.
