The story of Onegin, an aristocrat from St Petersburgh who visits the provinces and enchants the naïve Tatiana. Onegin sends her an impassioned letter, but he rejects her all while he dallies with his best friend's girlfriend, and kills him in a duel. After years pass, Onegin encounters Tatiana again, who is now married to a prince, and bewitches him.
