The perfect sinister tale for a midwinter's night
A combination of myth, poetic narrative and dark dialogue is created for a contemporary take on an old tale about The Prince of Darkness. Nominated for four Tony Awards,
The Seafarerinvolves a group of friends, a deck of cards and a sinister turn of events and it's showing at
The Darlinghurst Theatreuntil Sunday August 12.
Set on the north coast of Dublin on Christmas Eve, “Seafarer is a brilliantly bleak, dark tale which is both real and mythological at the same time. It is full of sad, despairing, lonely and angry men, who for all their faults are heart-achingly human.” says Director Maeliosa Stafford.
