Show On presents a season of performance from across Australia that focuses on audience participation and the intersection of art, life and popular culture.

The Democratic Set: Back to Back Theatre

Created in collaboration with local communities, this participatory film brings a visual soapbox to town: a sixteen second timeframe and the grand theme of democracy and equality.

Rramp is an eclectic mix of original music, dance, story, humour and animation that conveys compelling stories of collections, animal love, social commentary, childhood imaginings and human frailty through an electronica-dance-metal-rock set.

An experiential work that combines live performance and live cinema. Created by the audience, for the audience, Thrashing Without Looking involves video goggles, champagne and a lot of loud music.

Pin Drop: Tamara Saulwick

Part documentary, part urban thriller, Saulwick’s audio-sensory work explores fear in our day-to-day lives. The stories are primarily told through twelve voices, eleven pre-recorded and one live, which are interwoven through realtime audio processing to entrancing effect.
