Beer O'Clock Two

From Jimmy Fallon to Sweet Brown, the best in YouTube this week

1. Downton Sixbey
Jimmy Fallon has really settled into his gig as late night compere, and his show is no better than when they’re putting out their relatively high-budget spoofs of TV’s most popular shows (the Real Housewives and Glee piss-takes are brilliant). Now Jimmy and his team take on the Granthams in Downton Sixbey (all about the goings-on between the stars – upstairs – and the writers – downstairs – in studio 6B).

2. Sweet Brown escapes a fire

Almost tragic, very funny – we can see why Sweet Brown has become meme de jour.

3. Rachael Leahcar sings 'La Vie en Rose'
As far as pretty trashy singing competitions go, The Voice is getting something right: ratings are huge (one in ten Aussies are watching), the judges are sharp (well, if you take out Delta maybe) and the contestants can really belt. But the true success of The Voice is its brilliant emotional manipiulation, er, we mean, its sympathetic introduction to its diverse cast of singers. We cried along with the rest of Australian when legally blind Rachael Leahcar sang to the back of those chairs.

4. Pimp My Horse

Exactly what you expect, and funny.

5. Paul McCartney’s ‘My Valentine’ featuring Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman

As far as music videos employing big names to fill in for the actual singer, this is a biggy. As for the song, well… we'd love to hear your thoughts.
