The Slap gets a BAFTA nod

The ABC's adaptation of Christos Tsiolkos's The Slap has been nominated for a British Academy of Film and Television Award in the International category. Hector, Rosie and the gang of what are potentially TV-doms most unlikable characters will face off against Danish series The Killing and Borgen, and American sitcom Modern Family, when the awards are held on May 7. What did we think of the ABC's take on Tsiolkos's book? Good, not great.
