One of the reasons we started doing tGIF was because we appreciate the late 90s online design philosophy that states that web page's awesomeness is directly proportional to the number of intrusive and distracting animated gifs thereon. This much-missed design aesthetic was celebrated in the Simpsons' episode 'The Computer Wore Menace Shoes' from Season 12, when Homer created the below digital masterpiece. Get lost in that hypnotically dancing Jesus - and internet? You're welcome.
