The festival has an emphasis on small and friendly gatherings that allow the audience and authors the maximum amount of contact. The authors participate in informal conversations where they discuss their writings, influences, opinions and anything else the audience brings to the conversations. Tickets are available for the Lazy Lunches and Literary Dinners held every day of the festival with a featured author. Individual author conversations occur every couple hours throughout the weekend. Like books? Looking for an excuse to visit idyllic Mudgee in winter? This could be it. Featured authors include Nigel Marsh, Lucy Neville and Hannah Richell.
