Sydney's sublime power-pop heroes the Sunnyboys tested the water for a comeback earlier this year by appearing as 'Kids in the Dust' with Hoodoo Gurus at Dig It Up. Now they're back in force, with a glorious set planned for Meredith.

Canadian musician Grimes is signed to time-honoured art-house label 4AD and her third album, Visions, this year, melded genres ye would not have thought possible. Check out the clip below.

The Ballot is quick, easy, free to enter. Visit www.mmf.com.au before 10pm Sunday the 12th of August 2012, and follow the ensuing prompts. As usual, The Subscriber Ticket Ballot ensures the majority of the tickets are firstly allocated to Subscribers, before the rest go on public sale. There's two rounds (draws) of The Ballot – on or before August 15th for existing Subscribers and August 23rd for newer Subscribers. Ballot winners will be emailed a unique Meredith Key to access the secure Online Box Office and purchase tickets. Again, same price as last year, and the year before: 3 days and 2 nights for $279+bf.
