No fees and only pay when you stay
A good bet for the more mature backpacker looking for somewhere cheap and not too raucous to stay. The Lamrock is located on a quiet street 100m from Bondi Beach, and it’s a very clean, well-maintained place, now sporting funky new bamboo flooring. All rooms have TVs, microwaves and fridges, and there are four-bed dorms with rates that get better the longer you stay. Furniture and decor are in typical hostel style (bedlinen, quilts and pillows are supplied), and there are plenty of vending machines (in addition to the kitchen and laundry). Friendly, helpful staff and 24-hour security help to create a genuinely relaxed and easy-going vibe. Internet (pay terminal, wireless). No smoking. TV (cable).
