North Sydney, with all its office towers and corporate headquarters, means business. So it’s no surprise that the Rydges caters mostly to business travellers. All rooms have a private bath and shower, and many of the deluxe rooms and suites have beautiful views over the harbour. There are also 18 ‘iRooms’ with a computer and unlimited internet access, as well as executive boardrooms, video-conferencing facilities and even a conference concierge service. The hotel has spent millions of dollars on its new back-friendly ‘dream beds’, so at least there’s a good night’s kip to look forward to after a hard day at the office.
