Sydney's newest hotel has been worth the wait. Yes, it's in a casino and it's in Pyrmont, but don't hold that against the Darling, which is all about contemporary design and the latest in-room technology.
An integral part of the $870 million redevelopment and extension of The Star complex and located on the edge of Sydney Harbour, the Darling is the first five-star hotel to open in Sydney’s CBD since the 2000 Olympic Games.
Two-part in its design, the hotel has a distinctive inverted glass tower resting on a sandstone podium and features 171 stylish and spacious rooms and suites, an infinity pool and a luxury 16-room spa.
With its prime position near Sydney Harbour and panoramic views of the city skyline, Harbour Bridge and out to the Blue Mountains, the Darling offers four different kind of suite – Penthouse, Stellar, Adored, and Jewel – as well as 114 Darling Rooms.
